We cannot accept requests by telephone or fax. Submit your request as early as possible. Due to the volume of requests we receive, our turnaround for response is approximately 4-6 weeks.
All published material by Editions Grasset & Fasquelle is protected under copyright law. Written permission is required if you wish to reproduce any of our material.
The grant is conditional upon the payment of a fee. We cannot provide a standard fee schedule as each book and each proposed will be carefully reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
Upon reproduction of the material, you will provide us with one complimentary copy of the publication in which the reproduction appears, specifying the page or pages on which the reproduced material appears.
You will also ensure that all reproduced material is credited (we will specify the proper credit line for using our work).
Your request must be complete. If your request is not complete, we will not be able to process it. Please provide all of the following information (as applicable):

Title and author
Year of publication (optional)
The total word count of the extract(s) that you wish to reproduce
Scan of the material
Information about your project:
The title and author of the publication
The territory for distribution
The total print run of the work
Format (hardcover and/or paperback and/or electronic)
Published price /List price
Text or trade or scholarly
Type or format (hardcover print, paperback print, periodical, audio, ebook, website, etc)
If you are requesting permission for multiple formats (e.g. paperback and e-book), please include all the above information about each format.
